Wow, you have rediscovered the wheel. "Mary Had a Little Lamb" is about Mary and Jesus. In Anglican England it was illegal to practice Catholicism, so catholics made up songs in code to teach their children catholic doctrine. There are a lot of other nursery rhymes from the same origin.
