that is the nature of children for some reason they are earlier birds, you can try the no nap thing, but that just might make them want to go to bed earlier at night and then they will be up early...your best bet is to just get use to it LOL most kids like to be up early just take a nap with them. sorry if that wasnt much help. i feel for ya trust me i have to do the same thing with my son except its usually 6 am.

Take away nap time. My son is three, almost four and he mostly only gets a nap if he decides to pass out on me. My son is pretty well behaved, so any extremities in his behavior in the middle of the day, like excessive grumpiness or whining, I make him go lay down, but no more than a hour. He gets up about 9AM and goes to bed between 9PM & 10PM. I'm a stay-at-home mommy and if I don't get those extra hours in the morning, I find I don't have as much patience with him as I would like to. Also try doing a lot of active things with them a little bit before bedtime, it'll wear them out pretty good, and give them a small snack closer to bedtime. Sometimes kids wake up early because they're hungry. Just because their not infants anymore, doesn't mean the tummy doesn't control their sleep patterns!

If you stop their afternoon nap they might fall asleep earlier for a while, so do it gradually. They may start sleeping in if you put them to bed later (and without a nap) but more likely you'll just end up with tired, grumpy children. I don't know of any kids that sleep in in the mornings.

You may not want to hear this, but sometimes children just don't sleep late no matter what you try. I was like this and so was my brother; no matter how late we went to bed it was 7:00 am on the nose! My kids have finally outgrown this, they are 10 and 7, but they began sleeping later at about 5 or 6. This may be something you just have to deal with for the next couple of years, sorry? I totally feel your pain.

At 3 and 4 they sound a little old for naps to be honest. My 3 year old gets up at 7am then we start bedtime at around 7pm. I read him a story and sing some songs then he's usually asleep by around 7:30. If your little ones are going to bed later at around 9pm, without the naps they'll probably average about 12 hours sleep, leaving you free to sleep until 9am if you wish.

My son was an early riser, it was simple. When you wake up, you can go to the bathroom, but then I want you back in bed until I get up. You may take these toys or books to bed with youor you can go back to sleep.
But you are not to do anything else.
He got up a 5 AM during the week and he followed the above rule on weekends. It seemed to work from about 2 1/2 on.

No, a new child under 5 can no longer sit down nonetheless via a action picture it extremely is person orientated. If it replaced right into a sketch, new child orientated action picture, they are able to sit down down nonetheless for sometime, yet whilst it bores them, they'll incredibly get fidgety. little youngsters have a quick interest span. some youngsters are greater affected person than others, yet on usual i could say that taking them to the flicks could be a waste of money and time.

Cut the naps down and gradualy eliminate the nap altogether. That might help, but the reality is that your boys are early risers. go to be earlier and get up with them

Hi...you should try to make them go to sleep late. So they can wake up late also. This worked for my kids and i know it will work for yours also. The way this works is they get more tired by staying up late and when they go to sleep they are going to sleep even faster and longer than there regular time. I hope this works 4 u! =)
