God tells us that those of us who love him should be peacable with one another but he also tells us that true peace on a larger scale can only come from the government which he has called God's Kingdom with Jesus Christ as it's heavenly ruler. Daniel 2:44 tells us that this government will crush and put an end to all other governments and it will remain in power from that time forward--showering blessings on all who remain on earth and on all those who are resurrected to life on earth again. May God bless you abundantly for recognizing the need to have peace and wanting it to happen.

Because satan is floating around in the "sky" and as long as he can manipulate people and tempt them he will try to make our lives miserable. If he was gone then we would have perfect peace, it won't be that way until God locks him in hell. So we will never have perfect peace as long as we are still on earth, because we are all poluted. If we all died right now there would be perfect peace because no one would be left. You can find peace though by getting to know and trust in God and Jesus christ and by finding truth in the Holy Spirit.

Evil must exist so that Good can prevail. Whenever something bad happens, something good must come out of it. Things happen to teach us a lesson, and we must go through the difficulties of all that entails. We become stronger by relying on God to get us through those difficulties. James 1:2-3 says, consider it pure joy my brothers when you face trials of many kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance and perseverance must finish its work so that you may be complete and mature not lacking anything.
