Ok first of all Jesus NEVER said he would survive the cross. He said he would die, and then be raised again. Big difference there.
Secondly here are some references:
Matthew 12:40 For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of a huge fish, so the Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
Mark 8:31 He then began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and after three days rise again.
Mark 9:31 He said to them, "The Son of Man is going to be delivered over to human hands. He will be killed, and after three days he will rise."
Mark 10:34 They will condemn him to death and will hand him over to the Gentiles, who will mock him and spit on him, flog him and kill him. Three days later he will rise."
John 2:19 Jesus answered them, "Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days."

Matthew chapter 17, verse 22-23
"When they came together in Galilee, he said to them, 'The Son of Man is going to be betrayed into the hands of men. They will kill him, and on the third day he will be raised to life.' And the disciples were filled with grief."
Matthew chapter 20, vs 17 - 19 (also in Mark and LUke)
Now as Jesus was going up to Jerusalme he took the 12 disciples aside and said to them "We are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and the teachers of the law. They will condemn him to death and will turn him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified. On the third day he will be raised to life."

Mat 16:21 ¶ From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.
Here he mentions being raised from the dead, though he is not specific about how he will be killed.

Matthew, 20:17 thru 20:19:
"And Jesus going up to Jerusalem took the twelve disciples apart in the way, and said unto them:
Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and scribes, and they shall condemn Him to death. And shall deliver Him to the gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify Him; and, the third day He shall rise again".
