If you eat the exact same thing all the time,.. even Ice Cream,.. you can lose weight >.>

People have gone on all Ice Cream Diets. Once you start eatting anything else, it throws things off. That's probably the secret sucess to alot of Diets,.. they just focus on one food or food type. If someone switches to one food constantly they lose weight,.. if someone tries to eat a good variety of a diet plan they don't do as sucessful or gain weight >.< and it's all like " Oh why" and "But it worked for me,.. look at me"

Also it depends on what your allergic to and what you react to in what ways.

BTW, I did lose weight on Ice Cream >.> I did something like the Cereal Commericals are always spotting about,.. replace meals. Well I lost on Ice Cream but Cereal made me gain weight >.< So it's different from person to person.

None if u want to eat them in addition to what u eat now. But if u eat them as a substitute for the present food intake, u will be happier if u take fresh fruits and vegetables. Chew them like other foods about 32 times each morsel.

As others have said, veggies (just don't put a lot of fat, such as butter, mayo, or cheese on them), and fruits.

Cut down on the amounts of fat you eat: a couple of cookies, a small serving of ice cream, etc.

Pretzels have very little fat. Dip them in mustard (which also has little or no fat).

Stick with leaner meat, or little or no meat, and get your protein from combining grains, legumes, and other starches, and nuts, but don't go nuts with the nuts, as they are high in oil (fat).

Make a little meat go a long way by cooking things that use some meat, but lots of other things, too, or substitute beans, cheese, or other things for meat.

Put plain yogurt and salsa (or other flavorings) on a baked potato (instead of sour cream -- these combine to make protein, but feels indulgent).

Mozzarella cheese, in moderation; it's a lower fat cheese.

Cottage cheese is pretty low fat. (Put "light" canned fruit on it -- nummy, but not fat producing.)

As others have suggested, drink a lot: water, juice (V8 not only has lots of good stuff, but also helps fill you up).

In general, try to cut down on the amount of fat you eat, wherever you can, but don't try to cut out all of your favorites entirely.

Try to eat whole grains. Cereal is good any time of day or night. (Grape Nuts are whole grain, and take a long time to chew.)

When I cut most meat and a lot of fat out of my diet, I found I was hungry more often, but by having many meals and snacks, most of which had little fat, I really lost weight. It ain't how much, it's WHAT.

Gorge yourself on healthy stuff before the ice cream and other naughties, so you won't pig out on them. Just have a little bit, and eat the naughties slowly so you really enjoy them.

Also, pudding, as a treat, is pretty good. Look for things like this, that you like and that indulge your sweet tooth, that aren't too fatty.

Applesauce (make it yourself, it's easy and very tasty) also makes a good dessert.

Start reading labels and being conscious of how much fat you're consuming -- use a little, rather than a lot, of such things as butter.

Cook more with olive oil, rather than butter.

Cooking for yourself is better than prepared things, so you're controlling ingredients.

Bake, rather than fry.

Any foods in large amounts will cause you to increase your fat. You need to exercise and increase your metabolism to burn off the calories. If you are currenlty doing this then I suggest you visit www.glycemicindex.com. This web site give the full view on low glycemic foods, what they are and how they can help a person lower their fat levels simply by changing their dieatary habits and eating this way. Check it out.

Good Luck.

You should eat fruits and vegetables to fill yourself up. And drink 8 glasses of water everyday. Eating icecream is usually a bad idea when you want to lose weight. If you must eat it, it should only be in moderation- 1 serving size once a week or less, I'd say.

Vegetables! On the Weight Watchers diet, where the foods you eat have point values, veggies are the only thing you can eat as much of as you want (they have no point value). Water can help curb your appetite, a lot of times we mistake hunger for thirst. So drink a glass before you eat to see if youre truly hungry.

All kinds of vegetables. They have a lot less sugar than fruit. Keep a pack of carrots hand and eat a carrot every time you feel the need to snack.

A good thing for when you get the munchies is flavored popcorn, just make sure it doesn't have a lot of oil or butter, otherwise it's just as bad for you as chips. Low fat pretzels are good too.
