Any two dogs *can* get along provided that they are introduced properly and aren't dog aggressive.

Introduce them in a neutral area, like a local park or green space. Do not introduce them in one or the other's "territory."

Here's some great resources from BadRap on living in a multi-dog household with pit bulls and owning pit bulls in general:

I have a pit bull and his best friend is a bull dog, but that does not mean that will be the case for all! dogs are individuals, the only way to know if they will get along is to introduce them on neutral territory (the park for example) and see if they like each other. pit bulls do have a tendency to be dog aggressive (this is not the same as aggressive towards people!), so be aware of that. there is no rule that says certain breeds will or will not get along. every dog is different. you just need to try it out while you are in complete control of both dogs. also, even if they seem like best friends, for their safety don't ever leave them along together.

It all depends on the dogs nature mantality. The breeds really don't have anything to do with it. If the dogs a fighter then they'll fight but if the dogs a lover then they will go together like cheese and peanut butter or was it cheese and bread.

We have a ten week old English Bulldog puppy, and she gets along great with our other dogs, which include a collie and two chihuahuas.

I think it just depends on the personalities of the dogs.

Depends on the personality of the dogs and your commitment to train them to be social. If breeding is in your plans, don't.

Breed has little to do with dog's ability to get along... it's mostly in personality.

If they are both males???? if they are....I wouldnt do it. My male doberman is very dominate. Pit's are dominate and would probably feel intimadated by another male, But if tis a male/female or female/female they might be allright. unless they are both females. but if they're young they might be ok, it might take some time.

I wouldn't do that if those dogs are grown.... Those breeds generaly are very protective and if I did I would do that with extreme caution.
