I have been shaving for a while now (different areas of my body), I want to switch to waxing, well waxing make things normal again? (i.e. softer hair, longer growing time??) And why is it more painful to wax after shaving?

Yea its ok that you can wax after shaving but you might want to wait a couple of weeks so your pores can close back to regular size. Waxing hurts more because its comming right from the root instead of you just shaving the top portion!

Your skin is a little more sensitive right after shaving.
Also, the hair has to be long enough for the wax to adhere to it.

It's also hard to get wax off of scar tissue, so avoid putting wax on scars.
