Whats a fast, effective way to get rid of a stomach pouch. It's not very big, but i'd like it to go away! What are some workouts, besides crunches, that will work on that area?

Spot training supposedly doesn't work. You have to do cardio (running, jumprope, anything that'll get your heart beating fast) and thats the only way you're going to get rid of your pouch. You could also workout, and by doing so raise your metabolic rate. But if you just wanna get rid of that stomach, I'd say run (outside or treadmill/elliptical, doesn't matter to me).

Do alot of cardio like jogging, running, walking, biking. Keeping yourself moving will burn fat. That's really the only way to do it. The crunches will tone your muscles to a wash board stomach, but you need to lose the fat first which is what the cardio is for.

Also, consider snacking on celery or carrot sticks. Avoid high-fat foods. Drink only water and stay away from processed juices and soda. Sports drinks are ok since you are working out.

Try running. It works wonders, as it really burns the flab. Once you start burning all your body fat, you'll see your pouch shrinking. Once you are slim, you can try to get the best look / figure by toning your muscles (weight training can help tremendously). There are no short cuts. But the work will pay hugh dividents. A healthy, well kept body is sexy at any age!!!

Lie on your back with your legs straight up in the air, and your arms down alongside you. Lift your legs straight up while holding in your stomach. Your basically lifting your butt off the ground while your legs are up in the air. This works very well. Also, your diet is very important too, you will see results much quicker if you watch what you eat. Good luck!
