So far, I am in 100% agreement with Bam Bam M. I don't drink but would occasionally like the option of sitting at home, relaxing, and getting a buzz on. Also, I don't know anyone that smokes and gets in trouble. Although I would imagine the grocery stores would benefit greatly.

I think it would be a lot. I can't smoke pot b/c of my profession, but if I could I would. It blows my mind that it is illegal! Alcohol is so much more dangerous than marijuana. I've never heard of someone getting stoned and beating their wife, getting high (on marijuana) and assaulting the police, stealing to support their marijuana habit, overdosing on marijuana, or anything that you hear about with alcohol. The American public is so ignorant to believe this "war on drugs" hype. The large producers of marijuana are the ones that leak money to the anti-drug lobby. If we were to legalize marijuana the price of their cash crop would plummet.

I don't know if it would a one or the other issue. If it was legal I bet a huge percentage of people would be smoking it. But I doubt that all those people would then give up drinking.

i think that smoking pot is alot better than drinking. how many people go out and drive and get pulled over or wrecking the car compared to the people who drink and drive.? the only reason it is not legalized is because the government does't know how to tax it. otherwise it would be legal. damn government has to have their hands in everything

I would rather a good toke any day! I have migraines and have to give myself shots for them daily but, if weed were legal I would not have to be doing that. Weed works a lot better on migraines than this stupid shot I have!

Weed is better, but for work you can only become an alcoholic because then you will pass the drug test, I loved weed but now can only turn my liver into a pickle

Pot should be legalized and controlled. It's gotten too strong and too expensive. I don't do it but I would I think occasionally if it were legal. Teens should still avoid it as well as alcohol.
