not a good ideal!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Space heaters need to be plugged into the wall directly and need to be away from the wall and anything else that would catch fire if it got to hot. Every night this week I have seen story's on the news about a fire here or there. All seem to connected with space heaters. They are a great quick fix but should not be the main source of heat. Yes ... just like an extension cord --- as long as the power strip has a high enough rating for the space heater .... it will be ok.

No!!! They are to be plugged directly into an outlet. Read the warnings on space heaters. Unless you are trying to burn your house down, then go right ahead...just make sure no one else is in the house...please!
