Go to Mapquest.com and type in both addresses, one as the starting location, one as the ending location. And when it gives you the directions, it will let you know the distance between the two, as well as the time it takes and all that good stuff.

I would go with the address in Florida where you were living and plan to return (the friend's address?) as your "residence" and having the car "registered" there, but ask the insurance company if you need to change the address where it is "garaged" for rating purposes (prices are based on the ZIP code where the car is kept at night) to the out-of-state address.

I think the best way to find mileage and directions is with Google maps. Just go to Google and type the address and it can tell you all that information. There is also Yahoo Maps, as well as Mapquest.
