When animals get hit by cars. I've seen one too many dead kittens and one time I saw a quail couple crossing the road. The female got hit but only her lower half so she was still fluttering in the road while her mate ran back and forth along the side of the road in obvious confusion and anguish. People that say animals don't have feelings clearly don't open their eyes and examine the world, I think. This happened about 6 years ago and it still makes me upset to think about it.

Happy things--when I watch "A Charlie Brown Christmas" it gets me every time!
Or when I see my grandbabies sleeping.
When someone does something sweet for me, like leave a little gift on my desk at work. I cried all day last Friday because it was the last day before Christmas break, and we got little gifts from each other at work. I cried all through opening my cards and little gifts.
I cry when I'm sad, when my kids at school are sick, or upset. I cry when I watch TV and a sad movie is on. I cry when I see social apathy or the downtrodden that no one will help.
All kinds of stuff -- happy, sad, mad. You'd think they'd make a pill for that by now!

Losing someone I care about. And sad movies...even television shows. Like when Ross and Rachel broke up on Friends. I really don't cry that often, though.

i am not easy crying but what makes me cry is lossing a dear friend to me or when i see a little child or anyone suffer

Love stories, seeing the passage of time on the faces of my relatives whom I seldom visit and realizing I had not seen them for quite a while, seeing my mom or daughter sad and not being able to cheer them up, not having true friends...
