I am going to a party on Saturday night and signed up to bring mini hotdogs wrapped in crescent roll dough. I am having trouble deciding whether to cook them Saturday morning and reheat them at the party or make them up tonight, freeze them, and then just cook them at the party (the hostess has already said I can use her stove). The reason I would want to freeze them is that the party is 2 1/2 hours away. Has anyone done this or have any suggestions? Thanks!!

Why don't you freeze some tonight and tomorrow put them in the oven and see how that small batch comes out. That's what I would do.

Cooking them and then freezing them should work fine. Make sure you don't let them brown too much, because they will need to be reheated again in the oven. Also, just make sure that when you freeze them you lay them out it in a single layer where they won't stick together. Once frozen put them in a container to transport to the party. Place them in a single layer again on a cookie sheet and bake until heated through. Serve with some sauces on the side. Good luck.

Do them Saturday morning and warm them in the microwave when you get there. If you make them Friday night, when they are cool, put them in the refridgerator and you can heat them in the microwave when you get there. Both ways are fine.

I would get them prepared the night before, so there ready to go. Leave them in the re-fridge until your ready to go, and than just use her oven when you get there, or when your ready to eat them...

Check w/ the host... they may not have oven space for you to cook them there.
