Just tell him how you feel, in person so he knows your serious and you can let him down gently if he looks hurt and you need to soften the blow a bit! Dont do it by sms, email etc if you wouldnt want it that way dont do it to him!

Just come out with it, honesty is the best way. The next time you two are alone you tell him that you feel it's time you broke up. Mention that he's great but you two aren't meant for each other and it's time to move on. You could say that you still care about him but not in this way anymore. Make sure that when you break up with him, you weren't in bed with him the night before. He will feel confused and frusterated. Be sensitive and not mean or harsh. Let him know that it's not him, but is the both of you. Don't call him or leave him a note. Don't do it around other people because he may feel embarrased or ashamed. But don't do it in a toally secluded space, in case something should happen. You should do it in a peaceful place, maybe out doors.

Well if you really dont want to be with the guy then try telling him you think it would be better to not be together but be good friends. If you cant tell him to his face then you should try telling him over the phone or in an email or some other way so you dont have to see how sad he is or how happy he is. He might have the same feelings so its a game of being brave and doing what you have to do. Good Luck!!!

if you call out some other guy's name, he'll break up with you. In all honesty though, just tell him. Be nice but be honest. Come people kinda see it coming, but some people need closure. Just tell him that you don't want to see him any more. Saying you want to be friends sometimes sends a mixed message. sometimes being friends too early gives the impression of a make up. Just be yourself, but be kind too.

Personally, I think how you break up with him is based on 3 things....the length of time you were together, how far physically you went, and the true reason your breaking up with him. You need to be completely honest with him....no "well its not you, its me." none of that. Just tell him how you feel and why...DO NOT "blame" him for anything....that might start a really bad break up...you want to do it as smooth as possible.

Depends on if he lives with you. Just sit him down and tell him that you don't feel a connection anymore. You really need to add details if you want help with this.

Be as kind as possible, state your reason for wanting to end the relationship, and offer for the two of you to stay friends (if you're comfortable with that).

Simply by telling him, as kindly as possible, that you are ready for the relationship to end and wish him well in the future.
