when a med calls for a full glass of water when taking it what does a full glass of water do? does the med not work if you don't? i know this is a stupid question but most the time i never drink a full glass of water.

It helps in the digestion of the meds. It also helps to keep the meds from upsetting your stomach and some meds need to be dissolved in or to work properly. The water does this.

Taking a full glass of water with pills helps to get the medicine through your system quicker as opposed to taking just a swallow to get the pill down.

The full glass of water somtimes help digest the medication it also always helps you swallow the medication without chocking.
