Here's a cool tip. If you like sweets then every time you go to grab a sweet treat choose fruit EVERY time. Put some Cherries or grapes in the freezer and its like eating mini Popsicles :) Eventually when you crave something sweet you will crave fruit and not cake, candy, pie, etc. This idea comes from a book called lets do lunch. I know it works because some people at my office use the diet. You lose weight since you are eating less fat and processed sugar. I am already a very nice weight but I like this simply because I like to be healthy and I have become hooked on the frozen grapes and cherries, yum!

Heres what I do:

I eat protein at every meal (I eat every 3 hours to keep my blood sugar level stable. thats about 4-5 smaller meals a day).
Fruits and vegetables are very important! They are jam packed with nutrients.
Carbs dont have to be bad for you. They give you energy. I simply exchanged white bread for wheat bread, and now i also eat wheat pasta (its more nutritious). Whole grain carbs are better than ones made from white flour.
Water at every meal. Many times people mistake thirst for hunger, so try drinking water before you eat to see if youre really hungry.
If i know im going out and wont be able to eat for 5 or 6 hours, I make an effort to pack some peanuts or some source of protein in my purse.

Walking is a great way to get exercise if you dont want to feel pain. But youll get faster results if you push yourself. Start out slow, maybe walk 10 minutes a day or something. As you start getting results and gaining endurance, youll want to go farther.

It takes a serious commitment. the only way to keep the weight off is to keep it up. but it gets easier, especially after you start seeing results.

There should not be pain when losing weight. Eat right (a healthy balanced diet), watch your calorie intake, and exercise regularly.

For exercise go for 30 mins a day (5 days a week) minimum, but an hour or more is better and will burn more calories. Walk, jog, do aerobics, dance, ride a bike, rollerblade, etc...whatever you like that'll get you moving and get your heart pumping.

I suggest that you try body cleansing. I tried it and really got lean quickly. I lost 15 pounds in 9 days and also 3 inches off my waist. I do body building so getting leaner was my goal. My sister did this program too and she lost a lot of weight quickly. I did not know too much about cleansing but there are a lot of TV commercials about this stuff. This is a body cleanse and not just a colon cleanse, I wanted my body to get lean quickly and this did the trick! The fact is that u have to change ur lifestyle if u want to be thin forever.I've been eating organic food for five years(not to lose weight, but for my health).I feel great and i haven't had a cold since then.I travel a lot and this organic lifestyle gives me energy.I'm sure u'll lose a significant amount of weight if u try,for at least two Weeks,to eat non-processed food.I know it costs more that average food, but trust me,it pays off!Go organic or vegetarian for two weeks!U'll 'clean' ur body of all those chemicals.

Working out doesn't have to be painful. Try a dance class, its fun and good excersise. The more you dance the easier it gets. Eat a balanced diet, include as many food groups as possible but in reasonable portions. Get enough protein so your muscles can get stronger which will make working out easier.
