it really depends on what you are performing or rehearsing. if you're in musical theater, it all goes hand in hand. sometimes your lines are needed to be said to a certain beat that goes along with the music, and sometimes you have dance moves in the middle of a song ( watch gene Kelley and frank Sinatra films. and other musicals.) On the other hand if you aren't in a musical and you are in a dramatic or comedic play the Annunciation of your words so it can be understandable along with projection is key and taking voice lessons really help with that. and for dance and drama you should take dance or some type of movement class especially if you're in a comedic play. Comedies usually have tripping, and falling and sporadic movements.

they all rely on each other for something...for example...drama relies on a certain type of music to truly deliver the message/mood of the scene. Try watching a scene in a movie where someone is about to be killed and mute the sound...does it still have the same impact?...No. Dance relies on music to know the tempo and also the mood. Is dance as effective if there is no music, do you still recieve the same interpretation? Music relies on drama to once again to deliver the severity of the lyrics particularly to the audience. For example, if the lyrics to a song was sad, and the singer smiled the entire time while singing the lyrics...would you understand that the song was sad?....Drama, Dance, and Music all relate whether you're rehearsing or performing because they all fall under the category of ART.
