pls,i need three easy to do topics on control systems and design for my seminar presentation as well as project.thanks.

2.) Control signal standards
3.) Introduction to PLC controller

1. P, PD, PI, PID Controllers
Demonstrate control using each of above controller types and explain benefits of adding derivative and/or integral gains.

2. Lead/ Lag Controller
Compare/contrast with PID. Use frequency response and root locus analysis to explain benefits.

Apply the above control approaches to some common applications:
1. Typical 2nd order mass-sping damper
2. Pendulum (regular or inverted)
3. Two masses joined by a spring (input is force on mass 1, output is position of mass 2)
4. Nonminimum phase plant (zero in the right hand plane)

Let me know if the class is a bit more advanced than this.
