I think it's styraphome but I'm sure that's not the correct spelling. It's the white fluffy item used to protect products (tvs, computers, ect.) from being damaged.

styrofoam if you are talking about the large molded packing containers.

Peanuts if you are talking about the small, often S shaped packing material.

Polystyrene. Starts life as a liquid and gets converted to a white foam. Bit like popcorn.
