When I was young, my parents would sometimes let my siblings and I have a 'Pink Iceberg' on special occasions.

This is just regular clear lemonade with a splash of Angostura Bitters added for colour and then a scoop of vanilla ice-cream dropped in the glass. It tastes a bit like a cream soda and has very little alcohol in it so would be ok for children.

Another option would always be a 'Bucks Fizz' (just sparkling wine and orange juice) or a Bellini (sparkling wine and peach). When making these yourself you can choose how little or how much of the wine goes into the glass and the flavour will not vary greatly. Alternatively, if giving your kids Champagne or full-strength sparkling wine sounds too daunting, use a perry such as Lambrini instead.

PS. I think it is a good idea to introduce children or teenagers to drinking responsibly at a young age in a controlled situation. If they associate drinking small amounts of alcohol with having a good time and are not given the opportunity to discover the ill-effects of this drug by misguided experimentation I believe they are more likely to be responsible with alcohol when they are old enough to purchase it themselves.

avoiding the obvious question of why you are serving cocktails to children, you could check out the recipes on foodtv.com or emerils.com. They have quite a good selection of cocktails and many of them can be made "virgin" quite easily.
One of my favorites is a hurricane (pineapple juice, passion fruit juice, orange juice, lemon juice, lime juice, grenadine syrup for color and sweetness, maybe some sugar if necessary for added sweetness, garnish with a pineapple slice, straw, and/or marachino cherry). It is a New Orleans classic cocktail, usually served with cajun/creole cuisine.

How about NO alcohol content, for the kids?!?!?!?

7-Up + Grenadine + maraschino cherries = Shirley Temple

Don't even think about giving kids alcohol. Irresponsible and illegal. And totally stupid.
