If the person who holds his anger is a liar or thief, he will not likely recieve any reward no matter how much anger he withholds. The fact is that you cannot suppress anger, if you dont release it one way you will express it another, perhaps more passive way. But it will be anger none the less.

That "great reward" will be mental instability from suppressing anger instead of directly dealing with it.

Does a truly spiritual person really get angry at all? I thought the ideal was to not feel anger. That alone would be a reward.

That is the true nature of Jihad.
The animanistic subconscious mind generates the anger.
When a person can be angry and not release it for destructive purposes; the person has chosen to serve God instead of his or her base impulses.

It seems to me the great reward would be a very severe case of ulcers.

Muslims (and Islam) say Jesus was a prophet but they reject all His teachings ....that is hypocrisy.
They reject Christ's divinity;
they reject his claim to be the Son of God;
they reject his death on the cross...
they reject His ressurrection..
They reject Jesus is the Christ/ Messiah...
Need I say more...?
Don't be deceived. The Islamic god is totally different than the God of Jesus Christ.
The Bible calls Muhammed and those like him false prophets:
"Who is a liar but he that denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is anti-Christ, that denies the Father and the Son. He that denies the Son, the same has not the Father." (I John 2:22)
