Not sure what you mean - do you mean when phoning -to- the USA from abroad? Then the code is simple: 1

You'll still need to enter the international dialing code that the country your in requires (in the US you must dial 011 first, then the country code then the number, for example).

001 first then miss the next 0 then dial the number. i.e

If the number you are dialling is 01155523458 you would dial
0011155523458.

country code (CC) for usa is 1 and the international direct dialing prefix (IDD) is 011.

to make a direct dial *TO* the us you also need to find the CC for the country from which you are calling. once you have that number, to call the usa dial:

IDD+1+[phone number, including area/city code]

if you're calling from the usa to another country, then find the country code (CC) and dial:

011+CC+[phone number, including area/city code, if applicable]
