What's your dog's "show name"? How'd you pick it?

Errrmmm...which one? ;-)

Guess I'll use the one in my pic:

This is "Luna", or Ch. Kayak's Pagan Moon O'Kaylenberg

Kayak is the kennel name of her breeder and co-owner. Kaylenberg is my kennel name.

She was a wild, naughty little heathen when she was a baby (...and when she was a teenager. And now, even though she's 3). I also tend to name my dogs on a sun/moon, day/night theme (another story entirely), so "Pagan Moon" fit.

She is also very much a diva and a goddess -- so "Luna" fit as a call name. It took me about 2 weeks of figuring out her personality to come up with her name...for that time she was just, "puppy puppy". :)

All my names have a musical theme

Rainbow - Ch Soundtrack Rainbow Connection, Can/Am CD, CGC, TT, VADC. I chose this name because her father was called Kermit the Dog, and in The Muppet Movie Kermit the Frog sang a song called Rainbow Connection.

Sally - Ch Soundtrack Ambcn Mustang Sally CD, CGC, TT, SADC. Her father's name was Lipizzan, so I chose a horse related name.

Gabby - Soundtrack Sumthin' T'Talk About CGC, TT. Her call name is Gabby because she was a noisy puppy. The registered name plays on the "Gabby" name as well as the fact that she is something to talk about because she is long haired.

Ginger - Ch Soundtrack Spice Girl GCG, TT. I named her Ginger almost as soon as she was born. I call her Ginger Spice (one of the Spice Girls).

Lucy - BISS CH Soundtrack Locomotion CGC TT. I named her for her grandmother.

Rosie - Ch Soundtrack Cracklin' Rose CGC TT. My mother had recently passed away and she was a Neil Diamond fan. That's one of his songs.

Melody - Soundtrack Unchained Melody CGC TT. She is named for her great grandmother, Myrtle Melody.

Sailor - Ch Soundtrack Expedition Sailor CGC TT. I just liked that name. I originally called him Shorty because he was the smallest in the litter, but when I decided to keep him I changed his name.

Smudge - Soundtrack Paint It Black - He's mostly black.

Chili - Soundtrack Spice Up Your Life - She's a daughter of Spice Girl (Ginger)

Curry - Soundtrack Canadian Brass - He's a brassy color. Son of Spice Girl (Ginger)

Morton - Ch Soundtrack Diamond Mine. He has a diamond shaped white mark on his neck.

Intatto's Red Mystery

She's a Chow Chow. The first word is the breeder/kennel; second word is the fact that she's a red chow, and the last word is her name - her little fuzzy face holds a world of mystery.

Plus the breeder & I decided the wordplay on "red" (read) and "mystery" sounded like she had read a mystery novel. :-)

i like Chessboard Kennels for the Kennel call and use in basic terms the Chessboard area to call the domestic dogs....Like "Chessboard's Playin grimy". it extremely is the way maximum kennels do it. You pay greater beneficial in case you sign in a domestic dog call it extremely is over 35 characters collectively with areas, so protecting it common and leaving off the kennel area works maximum suitable. you could consistently upload your kennel call on the tip to love, "Playin grimy of Chessboard". in the adventure that your optimistic you will no longer in basic terms like the Chessboard call think of approximately diverse names obtainable. Like your city call or street call. Like in the adventure that your residing on Greenwood Rd A kennel call ought to be Greenwood kennels and a domestic dog call ought to be "Sir Tuffins of Greenwood" or "Greenwood's Playin grimy. Or in case you reside close to Dexter Creek, it extremely is a kennel call. Dexter Creek Kennel. You get the waft. what's some kin final call in the adventure that your call does not roll off the tongue properly, like what's your mom's maiden call in line with possibility you ought to apply that. i could additionally evaluate this variety too, Chessboard Aussies, instead of kennel. Or Greenwood Aussies, or Dexter Creek Aussies, or possibly that kin call is Wilcox so it ought to be Wilcox Aussies. You get the waft...good success on your new project, the coach ring... Aussies are the main suitable canines ever...
