Certainly not, you will have to bargain for it. Be aware that there is as many Arabic languages that there is Arabic countries and they don't understand each other. To complicate the matter male teachers only teach men and women teachers only teach women (that is girl's talk, children and cooking). If you manage to speak arabic anyway, they will not talk to you or will do so that you don't understand their secret language. If you manage to write Arabic you won't use it. You can learn classical arabic so that you can read the Koran. Think twice and bargain.. Smile
I must add: I learned Arabic for 7 years in Saudi Arabia. I read and write and speak and I understand films on the Arabic TV channels and the news of course....but that's all. Full stop.
