I live with my aunt right now, and need to get my own place but don't have money...my fiance suggested I move in to the same apartment he moved into with a friend..the friend is married with a little boy. It's a 3 bedroom apt, so I would have my own room, as would my fiance. We each have a couple jobs each, so we wouldn't see a lot of each other, and the wife has a couple jobs, and the husband has a night job. My fiance is trying to get a night job as well...do you think me moving there too would be a good idea??? We are waiting for marriage, and I don't wanna accidentally screw things up between us......

I am going to answer this question based on these 2 factors that you have mentioned: being a christian, and living in the same house as your boyfriend. "IF" it is possible that you could live in the same house with him, and NOT give in to the temptation of having sex with him (hard to do) according to the word of God it IS STILL WRONG to live with him. The bible says in 1st Thessalonians 5:22 "Abstain from all appearance of evil." What is meant by this is that as a christian your life is being watched by others that don't know the Lord. Friends, family and so on. You are a example to them. Even though you may not be sleeping with him it will be assumed. You do not want it to be thought of, or said that you are engaging in a sin when you are not. This is further confirmed in Ephesians 5: 3 "But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints." Named among you, or said about you.
Don't put yourself in a position where it seems as if you are in a situation that is ungodly.

wait until you get married...alot can happen to screw things up..as a christian you should understand that life throws a lot of challenges in your direction but perseverance is the key and it is rewarding...also you can save money staying with your aunty..you do not want to burden the friend who's already putting up your fiance and has a family of his/her own. learn to stand on your own two feet...even if that means renting a room elsewhere but don't over burden the friend ...even if they insist its ok. before any move pray about, ask for direction. God Bless

Just curious? what about when you two get married, where will you be living? will you have a place of your own then....think about that before you get married...you cannot start a family at a friend's

If your aunt is asking you to leave, then perhaps this arrangement would work. However, if she is not asking you to leave, then perhaps you can continue the arrangement until you are married. Even if it's several months, you can look back on it as a time where you were able to save some money and prepare for marriage!

In my opinion, you are getting rush. Life is like a bank acount. The more you try to take money from it, that more you are in danger to fail in life. Make you own , strong financial situation, and then take some cash out!
