Why not love what you are?
Seems counter productive to do otherwise.

Because we are His slaves. Even if all creations were to rebel against Him, it will be to no avail, as He creates us, so He can also destroy us. He just need to say "Be" and it is.
Nonetheless, the love and mercy of God is boundless.
Sahih Bukhari, Volumn 004, Book 054, Hadith Number 416.
-----------------------------------------
Narrated By Abu Huraira : Allah's Apostle said, "When Allah completed the creation, He wrote in His Book which is with Him on His Throne, "My Mercy overpowers My Anger."
So, why do some of us want to oppose Him so much? Embrace Him and God-willing He will embrace you too.
Happy Holidays.
Peace and Love.

h'mmmm ...everything is free will...how can it be an experiment when everything we live and breathe is made up by free will, even when we make mistakes it is our own free will, whether we realise it or not...part of our tests of faith are trials and tribulations, the proof will come to you regardless of whether you choose faith or not, those who lack faith or question gods love...are set for further tribulation and trial, and those who have faith advance further in the game of life...i know i have tried it :)
enlightenment is the most wonderful gift of all, and is so simple to acheive, just by having faith, thats all it is...nothing to do with the human side of religion, but our own personal realtionship with who we beleive god to be, and thats all that counts spiritually...
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Also dont forget Adam & Eve in the garden of eden, remember what god told them before he through them out of paradise? if i remember rightly from a chilldhood bible story, Once they left the peace and wonder of paradise they were thrown into a world where they would feel the emotion of pain, suffering even happiness, therefor free will... god said, you will feel shame for your nakedness, and they did....free will... when they lived in the garden of eden they knew no other way of life until the serpant presented young eve with choice, it was her free will to eat from the tree of life...perhaps theres a lesson in that for everyone....

....And why do you think?, Descartes said some 500 year ago?, "I think there for I am"?,....and because Love is an unconditional source of Good from God to his OWN!!, Creation, plus freedom, which also unconditional, for man, (Woman) Humans to decide our own consequences in life because of our decisions, first to grow, first to learn, to be first to reach out to HIM(God), there is the freedom of choice. if we want to go back to HIM, because all of what he have giving us, including his only Son,(Jesus), life to gain our understanding in exchange for the Universal acknowledge and the Universal Intelligence we can pursue, to become and achieved more with the freedom of choice for man to pursue and fallow HIM(God), and discover HIM(god), and the desires he has for man to become. Free from demons, devil and negativity's, as well from negative energies

Instead of looking at it as an experiment, think of it as a way he chose to share and expand his love. Our ability to love, and our senses enabling us to enjoy so many pleasures is evidence of his love.

"We come to receive what is written in our destiny. I bow to Him, I humbly bow. The Primal One, the Pure Light, without beginning, without end. Throughout all the ages, He is One and the Same. The One Divine Mother conceived and gave birth to the three deities. One, the Creator of the World; One, the Sustainer; and One, the Destroyer. He makes things happen according to the Pleasure of His Will. Such is His Celestial Order."

You ask alot of questions about God and why He does things the way He does. You need to spend some time on your knees asking Him yourself, He will give you some answers if you really have any intention of abiding by what He says. Be that as it may...YOU are the Shogun of Harlem!

Not sure what you are talking about here. From a Judaic viewpoint (and even a Christian one to a point) our creation was a loving act.
