Alcohol will bring out the real "you" I think, but some other people disagree. I had a counselor tell me once that when you are drunk you are not the real you. I beg to differ and I told her so. I think you should say what you feel or think when you are sober more than drunk though. Then the other person will know it is from you or your heart and not just the booze talking. Some people get OVER enthused when drunk and think (KEY WORD....THINK) they can do anything when drunk. It gives them superhuman powers or better judgement. Which we know is not the case. Some will use being DRUNK as an excuse to try and get away with stuff too evfen though they know it is wrong, etc.

I have heard that drunk girls do what sober girls are afraid to do. I have found so much truth in this statement too! I don't think it's ever bad to say something you really mean, and if you're tipsy when you are truthful.....Well, what's so bad about that? It's def better than telling a lie or keeping somethign all bottled up inside you, right?!

Well, a lot of times ppl hold themselves back from sayin something for a reason. Saying what you really mean only when you're tipsy is not good, you should say it when you sober. And yes, you say what you really mean when you're tipsy

Yes that has happened to me countless amounts of time. No I dont think its bad as long as what you have to say is done in a lady like way. The truth is the truth. Better to be said then not said at all!

The truth comes out when you have alcohol in you, whether you are tipsy or outright drunk. After drinking, my boyfriend told me I might be 'the one' after less than two weeks of dating.

Yeah, being tipsy is the most powerful lie detector. You get onto a certain subject and its as though you are forced to say it. I told my boyfriend that I cheated on him whilst tipsy recently and just thought he would accept it, kinda regreted it after.

"In Vino Veritas", as the old saying goes. Whether it is bad or not really depends on what you said, and who you said it to. I almost lost a very good friend saying something while I was drunk about his wife, so the danger is real.

you shouldnt be drinking so much that you feel the need to tell everything to people. Some people find it easier to have a few drinks because they feel they can be more honest with a person. Those people should be in counseling, you dont need alcohol to have an open relationship with any other human.

If it comes out into the open that way, and you dont like the persons reaction you can always blame it on being drunk!
