Jesus talks about rewards about 30 times in the Bible. I was wondering what I must do to get these rewards and wondering what they might be?

Believers receive different "crowns" that, together, determine his or her position of authority in the Kingdom. Here's a link to the various references to these crowns in the NT:

A person who has worked tirelessly for God will not be any more "saved" than another believer; however, he or she will have more left after the Bema Seat judgement in Heaven described at 1 Cor. 3:9-17. For instance, the 11 original Apostles (plus Paul) will all sit on thrones, judging the tribes of Israel (a huge honor, due to their service on earth), as shown at Matt. 19:28. Other believers will be judges (both of humans and angels), as shown in 1 Cor. 6:3. Some will be teachers, priests in the Heavenly Temple, etc. Yet, some will have lowly positions, because during this life, they demonstrated to God they couldn't be trusted with little things (Matt. 25:14-29).

Peace.

What you must do is study the mind of Christ, which is the Bible. Jesus Christ wants us to have a personal relationship with him. We do so by studying the Bible, Praying, and partaking of the Sacrament. You will be blessed in time and eternity. Your rewards will be based on what you know of the Bible, not what you do. Everyone around you will be blessed if you become a mature believer. Not everyone will enter the 3rd heaven where God resides. Mature believers will rule cities. We are Royal Priests. You can bless your children, your city, your nation, by studying the Word. We need Christians to study and pray. When you study the Bible , you will be tested on what you learn. How you handle the test is important. We will suffer in this life but God can turn suffering into blessing. Not all suffering is discipline. God gave us problem solving devices. He has thousands of promises for us to claim. We need prayer warriors now to solve the problem of terrorism. Christians are obviously apostate. God will restore the USA when Christians pray 2nd Chron.7:14. I hope to see you in heaven as a ruler of many cities. Peace out.

A Cardinal of the Church dies and goes to Heaven. An angel is giving him the the grand tour and a soul goes by draped in gold trimmed pure white robe with cheribim throwing rose pedals in his path as he ascends the gold inlaid white marble steps to his massive white marble mansion. The Cardinal asks the angel who that is and the angel says, "Oh, he's a lawyer.". The Cardinal thinks, "Wow, if that is what a lawyer gets, I can imagine what I, a Cardinal of the Church, will get". They continue on the tour and enter a huge building with a 200 foot high arched enterance way and the hall equally as impressive stretches forever. After walking for miles down the hall they take a left into another hall with 100 ft. high ceilings and walk again, coming to another turn into a hall with 50 ft. ceilings. this goes on an on with each turn the hall becomes smaller and narrower until finally they are going down a hall so narrow they have to walk single file and duck into doorways to let others pass. They come to a rough hewn wooden door, the angel opens it and inside there is a small straw cot, a basin and pitcher and a small window that looks out over nothing special. The angel says, "This is where you will reside for eternity in Heaven.". The Cardinal is totally taken aback by this and blusters out, "I'm a Cardinal of the Church and THIS is all I get, why did the lawyer get so much?" The angel says, " Cardinals are a dime a dozen, he's the only lawyer we've got here.".

Getting to spend eternity in the presence of God. There will be no stress, anger, frustration, etc.

You get the rewards by accepting Jesus and trying to follow his teachings.

You don't need to do anything. Just exist.

As for the rewards idea, anyone who says that they know is lying.

Love and blessings Don
