I have often heard a +4 called a quadruple bogey, however if you make more than a +3 on a hole, I would suggest moving on to the next hole.

no, there's no specific term, after the triple bogey they just call it a +4.
Makes it more simple when talking about a bad score... Maybe it makes it easier to forget a poor hole to have a name for it that isn't so glorified.

You place that into a category called OTHER.. or.. Worse than a Triple.. On a par 4 you simply call it a Snowman... Quad has been used before.. yes.. Just the word Quad... and if you make a 5... than your round is over anyway... I've had it happen!!

I've heard quadruple bogey, but mostly it is listed as "other". In most cases, it is simply not mentioned.

+4 is an Ostridge because you want to stick your head in the sand.
+ 5 is a Dodo because your game is extinct.
+ 6 is a Pigeon because the group behind you is going to start hitting into you as long as that hole took.
+ 7 is a come on and just pick it up already.

Yes, it is a "quad".. short for quadruple bogey. "Quads" are often "snowmen" on the card (8), so they go by that name too.
