I am not so sure it is about being picky. All of us (men and women) have an idea of what we are looking for in a partner. Obviously the first thing we see is the physical, so it is initially a physical attraction. If that isn't there, we usually won't even take the next step. If we are physically attracted to someone, we then look for an intellectual connection. If that connection isn't there we end it. It is just the way we are made up. My theory is, why waste time with someone if you know there is no future in it or if you don't enjoy their company. Doesn't make much sense to me!!!

Well I think people first have to look at their own attractiveness level and then they can be picky based on what they can get. But if a person is not that attractive and they are picky well they aren't going to get what they want because most likely they want someone on a higher attractiveness level.

I'm picky because it has been so long anyway I may as well wait a little longer for someone worth the wait. Also I have dated a few of duds and I would rather be picky and avoid the trouble.

Girls are more picky from an evolutionary standpoint. Women have the risk of child-birth and they can only produce few eggs available for reproduction.
Males on the other hand have millions of sperm and they have no investment in the child-birth scenario, so they typically are designed to mate with many/any women.

women are picky about guys because we are looking for an good connection from a guy and who is very good or may be another type of a personailty they is opposite to us and similmar ..we also look for a type of commitment and if we have kids that their will be a good environment for the children. Guys dont care too much and they like spreding their seeds and they care to an extend.Realtionships are VERY Importanat to womena nd thats why we women take it seriously! Some guys take its seriously to an extend... well.. hope that helps!

Girls are picky because they need to be. Boys are all about wanting our bodies, so we are allowed to be picky when choosing them. It's pretty simple. Girls want boys who compliment them and boys want girls who "give it" to them. Girls should always be picky and keep that well into their adult years. Thank you and good luck.

Because we know what we want, but alot of times we get involved with them because we like them despite them not having what we want in a man. We can't help who we fall in love with. for example, my boyfriend is always late, listens to music I hate and isn't what I would consider extremley good looking. but I love him because he is also sweet and romantic and has a great personality and a good sense of humor.
