So, if a guy is always there for her, protect her from bullies, helps her whenever she is in trouble, listen to her, do activities with her, give her pleasant surprises such as on her b'day, will she slowly grow feelings for him?

based from experience: oh yes! definitely! a few years back there was this guy who really liked me a lot, he kept that a secret for a long while.. later on he couldnt hold his feelings back he started writing, calling and calling and calling! but i nver did answer them.. he knew i did not like him one bit! and that calling thing has annoyed me more! well, he kept on doing that until he was able to reach me.. he kept on writing.. eventually after a like a year he had d guts to tell me what he really felt. at first i doubted it.. coz really, i did not at all like him! just saw him as a friend! he kept on and on with d communication and believe it or not, eventually i fell in love with d guy. i fell inlove with his kindness, the time and effort he gives me, the present for my birthday, etc. i realized d man of my dreams was just right there in him. now we're very much inlove though we still are in a long-distance away from each other. so in your case? yes, she can eventually love you back! i mean hello, at least youre close to each other not like us. not to worry, she'll notice all the things you've been doing for her. who knows? she may realize that the special person she could b looking for is just right infront of her..

Yes her feelings could grow of course. But you know what, I have a friend who is being a great friend and I have deep feelings for him even though I'm bound to another. I would want him by phone, letter which ever way is easier for him, to let me know again how he feels about me. To the point, no around the bush symbolism talk and mysterious stuff just to the point. Maybe you should let this girl of yours know your feelings again and ask her, her feelings about you. Maybe she already feels more for you and she wants you to approach her again. Take the chance. In private where there are no other distractions and where she can hear you if you have to be close to her and whisper in her ear.

True and lasting love is based on friendship. This sort of love goes on and on and is a source of great joy and companionship.

Physical attraction (lustful love) is temporary as people get old, fat, ill, etc, and so that will fade in a short time.

If you are the sort that wants a deep meaningful relationship, this guy sounds great, but allow plenty of time for both of you to see if your feelings do blossom into love for him and of course to give him time to prove that he is permanently this nice!

No she has to feel is herself not just because of the sweet things you do. My little brother for instance likes this girl has for 2 years or so and he does nice things for her and she won't give him the time of day unless she needs something. You need to ask her how she feels about this some girls just see some guys as friends forever it is different from girl to girl!
Good luck!

NO

you're trying to reflect your interest onto her, and it won't happen.

This guy will only be seen as a weirdo, if you (or this "guy") really likes her you should ask for her home phone number instead of trying to be her magical guardian angel who is worshiping the ground she walks on.

Girls don't feel attracted to their "biggest fan". Sorry

She has feelings already, but they may only be friendship. It's possible that over time, that friendship could blossom into something special. Keep being her friend, you never know how things progress!
