Jews and Christians have a special status in Islam as "People of the Book," which allows them to fully practice their religion without fear; in fact, devout Christians are considered the best non-Muslims: "...nearest among them in love to the believers will you find those who say, 'We are Christians,' because among them are men devoted to learning, and men who have renounced the world, and they are not arrogant" (Holy Quran 5:82).

Of course, the major difference in Theology is the problem with monotheism introduced by Christians: stating that GOD is a Trinity and/or that He procreates (has a son).

Despite what you hear in the media, there is no reason that Muslims and Christians should not be able to continute to improve their relationship and work together for the common good of humanity.

I can't really answer for a Muslim so this is not intended that way. So I answer only for myself. Muslims seem even more conservative than most Christians. And I feel both groups see Pagans as more the left or even being irreligious than them.
This is a generalization though, since Pagans can be very religious...I consider myself that way.
Paganism is broad category of a general religious group as Christian and Muslim is. Though some within that group may not define themselves in the religious sense, the vast majority do. Many of us are very religious.
Blessed Be!

I don't think they see Christians as "pagan". That is the wrong term. Pagans are really old European nature worshipers...the term pagan comes from the Latin for "country folk" or somesuch.

The Muslims consider Christians to be infidels...from infidelity...literally, not faithful to the true word. They consider Jesus to be a prophet, not a god.

I happen to agree with them about that last part...that Jesus was not a god. That's about all I agree with them about though.

I think it has to do with the "editing" of the bible, remeber the Quran is God's final revelation.Ever wondered why some gospels were included while others were left out?

Your statement contradict with the Muslim teaching pertaining to the laws and practises. However, it is better not to discuss about it as it may offend certain people in their belief about their religion. To understand better about certain religion, why not enrole yourself in the religious class of the particular religion or join their missionary group.I hope you will understand better.
