So I used to use bearshare and that worked great so I was going to use that again but noticed that they have changed a bit so I downloaded Kazaa.First thing I noticed since I have spyware running at all times was the bombardment of adware and other PC slowing itmes. So I tried to uninstall the Kazaa but they don't provide a uninstall function, also, my PC won't let me delete the program from the add/remove section in the control panel. I deleted the icons from the menu bar and it asked if I was wanting to delete all the files within the program, do I take that as a deletion of the entire software?
Also, the Kazaa website is no help, they have a link to send quiries to but all the link does is bring up the home page again......what a bunch of A55H0L3S

Kazaa should be avoided at all cost - it will completely screw your computer up - Kazaa makes there money from spyware - you should of read what you agreed to before downloading or using Kazaa - Kazaa puts a program on your computer which will keep pulling in spyware.
How to get rid of Kazaa this is not easy unless you have some knowledge of Kazaa & computers - the easiers way to rid your computer of Kazaa and it's spyware is to blank the hard drive.

If you want to undo changes to your computer you can follow the procedure that I have given below. I suggest that you simply carry out a system restore to a date when the computer was working normally with out such problems. This should undo the changes that have taken place and the PC should work normally. If you find some problem after system restore you have options to revert back or chose another date. Detailed instructions are posted at http://fixit.in/systemrestore.html Subsequently you install astandard antivirus and an antispyware.

I used a program called Lavasoft Ad-Aware SE Personal, it finds most things that are doing damage to your system and gives you the option to delete it. I also suggest AVG Anti-Spy ware Free.

If you are looking for a program to download torrents and whatnot that does not have any spyware and such, I use Shareaza.

You'll need to run your antivirus and antispyware software to remove the crap it puts on. Then you'll have to get all of kazaas files deleted. If you're comfortable with the registry you'll probably want to remove all of the related registry keys.

get the trial of "your uninstaller" and also download Spybot Search and Destroy

run spybot then use your uninstaller to get rid of kazaa.

I tend not to use filesharing progs as they're too slow and full of crap, try looking for forums etc for downloads
