It is a baked cheese cake.
The recepie says chill it in the fridge for 24-72 hours before serving.
How long will it be safe to eat??

it'll be safe for about 1 week. The quality kind of deminishes about 2 days after it does the initial set which should only be 12 hours not 24-72 (thats crazy talk)

It depends on the quality of the ingredients also when the cheese expires. It should be safe for up to 5-6 days. But seriously, what cheesecake will last that long? it's just too good to not eat.

If it is a homemade cheesecake, it can last up to a week or so. Mine have lasted about that long. However, if your really concerned about it going bad, you can even freeze it. Just be sure to thaw it well over time when you decide on eating it again, to make sure it tastes how it did when you first made it. I've done this before with desserts many times, and it turns out just fine.

The cheesecake will last for at least 2 -3 weeks once it has been prepared properly.

I've had my own cheese cake (no preservatives) last up to two weeks in the refer, if it's set at 40 deg F. It was still good to eat, but it was starting to dry out around the edges.
