No. Think about this carefully. What sort of society would we live in if we didn't have some kind of sanctioned union between couples??? Our children need this, psychologically our children need this, emotionally our children need this..
Civilization needs certain controls and rules. Not too many or it becomes like a military state. But we DO need them, whether we like rules and regulations or not, they are there to protect us, and to keep the world from chaos.

Yes, It could be. But that would not be the case decades ago, when a married couple would have 5-10 children.
You can say that perhaps in the modern era,
HOwever, we have what is known as "serial manogomy" where people jump from marriage to marriage and many times have children in these seperate marriages as well.
In countries where there is not much marriage, in the Western world, like the Netherlands, it does nothing but actually bring the population down. Sure they are single mothers, but of one child, two at the most.

In the third world, where there is no marriage, they would be having dozens of children marriage or not, since it is not marriage which drives them, but culture, poverty and genetics.

No. Every culture has the institution and ceremony of marriage, and did so long before there were "masses" for anyone to control. Marriage in fact predates large permanent human population centers. Suffice it to say that in broad terms the symbolic union of pairs is important and meaningful to human beings.

You obviously don't know much about marriage or the way in which the masses seem to view it. 50% divorce rate. Marriage doesn't seem to be all that important to the masses at all.

No. Marriage is a choice, and it's a way that sensible people control their lives, in contrast to the lack of control and chaos that characterize people infected the liberal disorder.

The Ancient Celts had Ten Degrees of Marriage.

But it was simply a way of recognizing and caring for the children that resulted in the unions of men and women.

Two of my favorites---
7th degree of Marriage;
....only good for 24 hours
a.k.a. "Soldier's Marriage"

10th degree of Marriage;
.... the tribe bore the responsibility for this one
a.k.a. "Idiot's Marriage"

no marriage is something that you do when you find your soul mate and no one marries someone and risks everything just to throw it down the drain so the only time people marry is when they really feel that they are ready

Absolutely it is! It is a tool used by the church AND the government to 'keep the sheep' in order and under control.
