Why would anyone report my questions about these things? I see questions and I have asked questions that was aimed at provoking and offending people and their beliefs, those questions were not reported, why was my last question reported, how is 'chatting' not part of asking questions?

Was Jesus an astral traveller?

Are atheists scared of the possibility that we might not be alone in the universe (there might be a god, their might be a few gods), it is pretty scary isn't it?

It is the process of letting oneself "go", and free associate basically.

Some Native Americans use certain psycho-tropic plants to get to this 'altered or pure state of awareness". The basics of the process are actually quite simple, and can be done without such 'tools'.

In this state you become aware (hopefully) of the surroundings of the question you are asking or th answers you are seeking. Since you are not 'connected' to yourself anymore, you can hopefully view things from a more global perspective rather than one anchored in yourself.

In many ways, every one of the things you are asking about is actually the same process. Some Native American and Aborginal cultures call this 'dreaming' and some even refer to it as the 'Dreamtime'.

Some cultures also warn against 'walking in some one else's dreams'...and refer to people who violate this as 'Dreamwalkers'. that term is the height of insult to many who follow this Path.

No idea what your last question was, but I've had some that have been reported. I don't think mine were in the least bit offensive and certainly weren't meant to offend anyone.

I don't know if Jesus was an astral traveller, but I do think astral travelling is possible.

I don't really consider myself an atheist - although I'm not a believer either. I know something bigger than us exists, but I don't know if that is mistaken for religion.

Actually, I would suspect it was Christians who reported you and got your question removed, not Atheists. Christianity does not accept astral traveling, shaman journeying, soul traveling, and certainly not divination. Those are the work of the devil. So I'm sure that asking if Jesus was an astral traveler riled the Christians more than the Atheists.

These types of things make people uncomfortable. I'm not sure Atheists did it... as everything you have listed is considered "witchcraft" to the mainstream religions. They had to come up with something to get the question out of here.... or else someone might be tricked by the "devil" *wink*

Yes, it is scary, to think that other people get so bent out of shape when someone speaks of their experiences and it doesn't match theirs. Seems like they're all doing it now.

If you go to "feed back" and explain the situation, you will get your points back. And the person who reported you will lose points.

Answers doesn't seem to see the report unless you use feed back. Even Yahoo answers people feel their is a problem with some using the report key too often to advance their own agenda.

Yes, I understand what you are saying. I have been "reported" for a factual listing of what Jehovah's witnesses do which most people know about since they do go door to door ?? I don't understand where they are coming from on that...there was no name calling at all. I think some of them are less than objective.

Scary? That we might not be alone in the universe? Not really.

Being alone in the universe is scarier, don't you think?

Are religious people scared that we actually don't know if there is a god, and "believing" in little red riding hood won't make it real?

Too many people refuse to accept the thought that they may not be absolutely right in their beliefs. If you don't consider every option...how can you be sure you are right. I never push my thoughts on others and accept that "what will be...will be." Only time will tell the truth.

Any technology that is sufficiently advanced would appear as magic to a more primitive society.
