My ex and I broke up about a month ago. He broke up with me but it was pretty mutual and he knows I don't like him anymore. ( It wasn't a mean or bad breakup.) But here's the deal: Whenever I am around him he seems to start talking about other girls. Like yesterday he randomly said when I walked up to a group he was in, "yeah, I've got to call so and so about who my date is going to be", or one time he said in a very loud voice somehting about another girl being really "fine" when I was within hearing distance. Is he trying to make me jealous? And, if he is trying to make me jealous does that mean he still likes me or is he just trying to make me mad?

He is being an insensitive jerk. He is trying to make you realize what you have lost , not having him.
He is trying to make you jealous and hurt you... This is to boost his own ego... He is realizing that he has lost out and it has hit him that he probably won't find someone as nice as you. Just because the relationship is done, doesn't mean that you did something wrong. You probably outgrew his immature ways and were getting fed up anyway.
Other girls see what he is up to and maybe the old boy is having a hard time getting a date and is saying things to cover his embarrassment....
He does this by trying to strike out at you.
Ignore this immature behaviour.... I want to see his face, when you have a great guy standing next to you with his arm around you....

It could mean a lot of things. 1) that he is still hurting from the break up maybe he really didn't want to break up and just did it for your happiness and now he want you to feel the pain too.
2) He wants you to feel the pain of the break up like he is.
3) He wants to see if you have any feelings left for him by maybe showing some jealousy.
4) He trying to show you that he doesn't need you in his life because he has other options.
In any case maybe you should bring it to his attention that all his talk is bothering you and try and find out the source of why he is being this way. The only way to clear your mind and to stop him from doing this is to talk it out. Best of Luck!

He is either trying to make you jealous because he still likes you or he is trying to be a brave man cos he is still hurting

he may be trying to get u back, thinking if u hear he is dating u will become interested again and want him. he is trying to make u jealous, but not to hurt u, just to get u to want him again.he really probably doesn't have anyone to date, and no relationship so he is bragging so u can hear.

He's just trying to make you think that he's in demand so you will try to get back together with him. He needs an ego boost. Ignore him and you'll drive him crazy.

why are you still hanging around him? thats weird in it of it self! move on, obviously your just a hardas.s and too proud to admit that you are jelous and still in love with the dude.

it sounds like HE is mad and jealous... it sounds like HE still wants you ......but remember you two broke up for a reason...i don't know you but it sounds like you can do better than him..
