the snakes punishment was to crawl on his belly and eat the dust of the earth for the rest of his life. does that mean he was of a likness of man?

If that is a snakes punishment, then they do pretty well for themselves. Have you ever owned a snake? They really don't have any sort of personality. They pretty much only act on instinct. When was the last time you saw a trained snake perform any tricks. If they were punished, then they do not know about it.

We are NOT TOLD that he was "like man" or that he "walked on two legs". We are told that he would be crawling on his belly and eating the dust of the earth. We really do not know, Quit trying to rewrite the BIBLE!

I saw a picture a couple of years ago of a snake fossil where there were legs on the snake.
