You can grill it, poach it, steam it or broil it. I would poach it in Parchment paper with a little white wine, herbs, salt, pepper and a pat of butter. Just lay it on a piece of parchment, lightly sprinkle it with the seasoning and fold the parchment over and make a little pouch. Put it on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes at 350. It will come out nice and plumb, really moist and should flake apart when you cut into it with a fork. Parchment paper is sold in the grocery store near the aluminum foil.

If you grill it you can dry it out, same with the broiler or a saute pan.

Good luck.

i'm no longer too loopy for salmon yet I even have got here across 2 recipes that i in my opinion like and it has in no way come out dry. those recipes have helped me consume salmon with the aid of fact i understand it quite is amazingly healthful. One is Ginger Salmon and the different is Pesto Salmon. the two are great common to make. there's a nil.33 recipe for Maple Glazed Salmon with Pineapple salsa that i've got not attempted yet in spite of the indisputable fact that it sounds sturdy. i've got appeared at each and all of the recipes and the salmon bakes contained in the oven each and every time for between 10 and 20 minutes for fillets that weigh a pair of million/2 pound. yet i understand that in case you keep a watch on it, that is going to be accomplished as quickly as the colour adjustments that's ordinary to work out. in case you opt to envision out the recipes they're on the positioning below:

My favorite favorite way to prepare salmon is this:

Very finely mince about 1 tablespoon of fresh ginger per serving.
Spread the minced ginger onto the flesh side of your salmon.
Sprinkle lightly with chili flakes.
Squeeze a little bit of fresh lemon juice over the top, then if you want you can decorate the fillets with thin slices of lemon that you lay over the top.
Pop everything under the broiler, cook no more than 10 minutes, but really it depends on the thickness of the fish.

You'll probably want to scrape the ginger & chili flakes off before you eat the salmon, but they will have given it a really nice spicy flavour.

Salmon is pretty easy to cook. Microwave together 2 tablespoons of butter with 2 tablespoons of lemon juice. Heat oven to 350. Pour melted butter/lemon juice over the salmon. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.

it depends on how you like it personally i like it grilled or baked with onions since it is your first time i would go with baking only b/c it is easy what you do is take the salmon and season it with what ever you like and then put it in a foil pan you can get from a dollar store about 4 for a buck the small ones put the salmon in with the onions and a little butter so it does not dry out cover with foil cook for about 20 min on 350 good luck

Quite a few different ways:

Pan sear - medium high heat with 1 Table spoon of cooking oil/Olive oil cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side.

Broil - coat with a bit of oil on both sides cook for 2 to 3 min per side.

Bake - 400 to 425 for 4 to 8 minutes.

Note: cooking times will vary depending on the thickness of the fish

If you want to be different, grill your salmon over a plank of cedar wood.

Another way would be to bake it. First cover the salmon completely with a mixture of rock salt, egg white, dill, garlic, etc. Wrapped in foil. Then bake.

Lots of diff ways to prepare it, but this is my fave *simple, too :)*

I line my toaster over tray w/ foil, spray with Pam or Baker's Delight Spray. I then put the salom fillets on the foil and sprinkle fresh lemon juice on them and then sprinkle them with Mrs Dash seasonings. Put them in the toaster over at 350 degrees for about 15-20 minutes..they cook wicked fast

I broil it with a pat of butter and a dash of lemon on top. Keep the oven door open a crack, turn the extractor fan on high, keep an eye on it, and cook it just until the flesh turns pastel pink.
