i want to loose weight, but i dont have enough money to join gym. well for the past 2 weeks i m taking only salads and one apple a day. i run for about 30 minutes every morning and take 45 minutes brist walk every evening. i want to loose 25 kgs in three months. i also includes some exercises in my weight loosing schedule (like push ups, situp, and skipping) what else could i do to loose weight fast plzzzzzzz advice. ur advice will prove to be a great help for me. i know it is unhealthy but i m ready to take risk. i beleive that nothing is impossible. plzzz advice.

First of all you do not need a fancy gym to lose weight. Also all these expensive weight lose clinics. I found that the Slim Fast web site is excellent here is the link www.slimfast.com. This website gives you a wealth of advice. Plus walking is great exercise. Also this may sound goofy, but in the winter when you do not want to get out in the cold,just find some good music even on your computer try yahoo's launch and dance around your living room. Hey no one will see you and its fun and burn calories.Make your goal for about a pound to 2 pounds a week. I am on a diet myself and I am keeping in prospective. I have lost about 5 pounds so far. But I am not going to give up because I am not a size 8 overnight. I have promised myself that I will get myself healthy. If I can only get to a 10 well its better than the size 16/18 I am in now. Please do it for yourself not for anyone else. Good luck

You don't have to be a gym member to be able to excercise. I go walking every day. I have a pedometer so I can track my steps and distance. It's great! You can also used work out DVDs/videos to excercise. See if any of your friends have some you can borrow. If not, they are very reasonably priced at Wal-Mart/Target or similar stores. I reccomend anything by Denise Austin. She is great, and very postivie and has many different types of programs (cardio, toning, yoga etc.) She also has an early morning show on Lifetime Network (8am Eastern--I think). You might also check and see if your school has facilities for student use. I don't know if you are in college or high school. Most colleges will let students use the gym, pools, equipment for free or a for a reduced price. If you are in hs still, ask your PE teacher if you can use the school facilites. Since January I've lost almost 20 lbs, but cutting calories and walking. I feel great--and I didn't join a gym!!

Losing weight is not about money, joining those expensive gyms. NO. It could have been better if you had some one to check you up always when exercising. Non-the-less, whatever exercise you do, remember to rest at least 30 seconds in between the sets. Perform 15 repetitions for each exercise and do 3 sets each. Then if your level of fitness is better, do 5 times a week.

I can't believe that you are not losing weight with the routine that you are maintaining. WOW.
I lost 105 pounds in 6 months. Here is how I did it.
1. Every morning get up and walk for 45 minutes. You can start with less time, but you want to get up to 45 minutes, and it must be fast walk. You want your heart rate to go up. It must be in the morning, it kick starts your metabolism.
2. I cut out Red Meat, and fatty foods. Boneless skinnless chicken breast, baked, or grilled, rice and vegetables (steamed).
3. Eat half. Just eat half of what you normally eat. Put 1/2 on your plate, and put the rest away. Cook less. When you go to fast food, get salads only. Or grilled chicken. No fries, only diet soda. Or water.

It will work, once you get into a routine, you will get hooked on the results, and you will keep the routine. It has been over a year for me.

i'm not sure what the conversion is but losing 6-8 lbs a month is whats healthiest, any crash diets that will make you lose a lot of weight in little time is either extreemly dangerous or just temporary and will come back real quick when you stop dieting. Just remember to healthier and burn more calories then you intake and you should lose weight no problem at a healthy rate

Do you remember this little cartoon skit in the Archie magazines. There was this skinny guy on the beach who had a big muscle man steal his girlfriends. Well that is a true story. His name was Armstrong (can't remember his first name). Well he studied the habits of a lion. They are the one most powerful creatures, but also the laziest. They really don't do much, they don't always hunt for their own meal, the females do. But what they do, is a lot of stretching, working one muscle group against the other. It is called a resistance work out and Armstrong perfected it. You don't need a lot of weights or fancy clothes. He lost weight in the right areas and gained muscles were he needed them. It is a great work out.

Please Add protein to your diet!!! Protein burns more calories than it actaully has!! So does Grapefruit. Grapefruit its the best also becasue its mostly water. But here is a VERY good plan. But note that with this you must eat at least two small meals a day. You dont need a Gym, just some will power, which you already have!!! ;-)


YOu need to drink alot of water and get you matabolism going! Heres how:
THIS WORKS FOR SURE

this may seem nasty but it works!!!!!!!!!!!! trust me.

1. Drink 1-2 tblespoons of APPLE CIDER VINEGAR!(twice daily) this kind of vinegar helps your body burn fat! look it up. (its all over the web)

2. Drink Green Tea. Perferably in the Morning and Evening. This also burns fat by increasing your matabalism. look it up (its all over the web)

3. For breakfast eat = half a grapefruit! grapefruit is great for you and it takes more energy to digest than most fruits. Guess what that means? your body burns more fat!

4. If your really serious take a small amount of water and mix 1/2 teaspoon of CAYENNE Pepper (or more) and swallow that really fast. Chilli Pepper works too. Its not that hot and if you swallow it fast only the back of your throat will burn a little. These peppers make your matabolism go really fast NATURALLY!

do 1 of set in the morning of each (after eating your grapefruit and tea) do 3 sets of each, every night! (or more)

6. Walking will help ALOT! walk to your friends house, to the park, around the corner, take your dog on a walk, walk around your house a couple of times, SOMETHING!

7. While watching your favorite tv show do jumping jacks. Youll be so into the show you wont even realize your doing jacks! Take a break during 2 or 3 commercials. Before you start Drink a BIG cup of water. After you finish drink 2 big cups of water in 30 mins.

8. Drink at least half a gallon of water a day.

9. Eat less. Eat healthy. NO SUGAR. (or very very littile of it) That is very general, I know. But you have to make your own rules, I just give guidelines.


10. Dont weigh yourself. You will have alot of water weight so the scale might not be accurate. Just pinch the fat on your stomach. Notice how much you pinch. Pinch your fat everynight. after a coule of weeks notice how you will start to pinch less and less!

11. Tell me your results!

I think you should add some lean protien to your diet. Your body needs fuel to stay energized. Grilled chicken doesnt have a lot of fat in it. Protein is also essential in building muscles. Drink plenty of water and rest in between your weight lifting sessions. Your muscles tear when you lift weights and then rebuild even stronger. if you dont give them an oppurtunity to rest, they wont have a chance to rebuild. Risking an unhealthy diet means you risk burnout/exhaustion. You can have a healthy amount of foods that are good for you and still lose a lot of weight.

It looks like you're doing great with the exercise.
But you're not doing good with your diet.
You cannot deprive your body of the fuel it needs.
Believe it or not, doing so will SLOW your metabolism.
When you don't eat enough, your body conserves it's fuel by slowing it's metabolism... So you don't lose weight.
You're making your body think that it's in danger (and it might be right), so it's taking precaution.
Eat more.
I know you don't want to, but it really is best.
