I never took any class , an i have had 2 baby's. It's not really Needed, the Docs & the Nures will help you through step by step during Labor. But if you really want to take a class , Check with the Hospital you will be having the baby at , they offer many classes at the Hospital (breast feeding, Labor, Etc.) , That also could help you get a feel for the Hospital staff !! Much Luck & Congrats !!

Several people tend to think that classes before birth work, however I think it would be a pyschological thing. I have three boys and I never attended any classes yet all three births were fine. When it comes to have an actual birth just stay calm to prepare for it a good idea would be to do a lot of walking. It truly does help. Just control your breathing in your own way because what they would teach you in a class really is not helpful cause no TWO PEOPLE are alike. Good Luck!

you should take a breast feeding course that way you know what to do to nurse your baby and don't have to learn when you are in pain. also a lamaz class is fun teachs you great breathing techs. and also you make friends that are having babies too. if you find some girls you really click with you guys can have baby play dates once the babies are born. trust me it helps to have some one close to you that is in the same boat as you are. good luck .

I didn't take any classes, but if you do take a parenting skills class. One that tells you how to change a diaper, when to call the doctor etc.
