I don't know about the particular ones you are taking but you shoudl be very careful as to total amounts of each vitamin in them both. Too much of many of them can do damage. Read article/.....

Get yourself a book called The New Optimum Nutrition Bible, by Patrick Holford. It explains that the so-called "Recommended Daily Intake/Requirement" for just about all the minerals and vitamins are way below what is effective and safe.
RDIs are minimal amounts to maintain basic health. Vitamin C, for example. I think the RDI for that is about 60mg. That amount will stop you getting scurvey, but bugger all else. 500-1000mg a day is a much better dosage, and even higher than that for some people, especially with certain medical conditions, or if they're at risk for certain things.
I truly recommend the book - it's a real eye opener. I know several naturopaths, homeopaths, kinesiologists, and even a psychologist who highly recommend Patrick Holford's books to their patients. I used the nutrition bible a few years ago to cure myself of severe depression. It took eight weeks.

Ever hear of too much of a good thing? You'll have to do some research, but in addition to your multi-vitamin maybe you should concentrate on additional supplements for energy only such as B vitamins and B Complex. Talk to someone who knows about this stuff. You might also want to try supplements such as Ginsana or other herbal supplements. Best wishes!

No. One-a-day is actually small amount of vitamin supplement. You'll find much larger amount at a GNC store.

Do not expect doubling the vitamins to give you more energy. If you feel more energy, it's in your head. If you want more energy through the day, eat healthy foods, dink lots of water, exercise routinely and get regular periods of sleep.

Multi vitamins can be harmful in mass doses. Most multi vitamins contain very strong doses. I would read the labels. Certain vitamins can cause kidney stones and fat cells to build up and block arteries. I would be cautious and ask a pharmacist or doctor.

vitamins are SUPPLEMENTS they cannot provide you with energy which comes from CALORIES in food. Also they are meant to supplement, not replace foods and high amounts of certain vitamins and minerals can cause you to have problems.

I dont know about vitamins, but wouldn't you rather take in healthier foods as opposed to taking in a tablet?

If it says take one ... then yes 2 would not be good, there's a reason they say take one ... too much of anything is just as harmful as too little ... it could mess up kidneys and liver mostly ... something you definitely don't want to do ... and that's what our Dr said, check with yours first.

depends on what/how much is in them. Too much is never good for your body. I know taking too much vit. C can have the opposite effect on your body!

well anything can have a side effect if taken in overdose. for example an overdose of VITA for 20 years can lead to osteoporosis,... other types of vitamin overdose might lead to different diseases!
