Hey I'm lactose intolerant, too.

But I use frozen yogurt in my rootbeer floats and they are delicious.

Just make sure to use A&W rootbeer, the regular kind, not diet, and use a good quality frozen yogurt, like Breyers or Haagan Daas (sp?) and I swear, you wouldn't know it was any different than any other rootbeer float.

Enjoy!

Rootbeer float if I had to choose from the two listed--you should try Vernors and French Vanilla Ice Cream --- Slammin!

Normally I would say a vanilla shake but it's been a while so I think I'll have a root-beer float. What would you like, a beer, soda, a shot of Vodka or other?

chocolate milkshake. Very hard to make these days plus their expensive! Be creative and throw some fudge in there with whipped cream and make it thick
