Primarily headache...maybe a little bit of nausea.....

why would you want to stop completely.....it would be far better to slowly switch to something like splenda, a little at a time.

i have heard that they exist. some people can become addicted to aspertame. The physical addiction can cause headaches, but this can be linked to caffeine addiction as well.
