Two best:
The Palomar Hotel in San Francisco
The Antheneum in Detroit (no kidding)
Both luxurious suites, top notch service and never wanted to leave.
The worst:
The "T-Bone" in Grand Rapids, dirty, old, and smelly. Regretfully the only room we could find while working a show. Next time I would choose to sleep in my car.

Marriot Courtyard, Embassy Suites are the best
can't remember the name of the worst, think it was a motel rather than hotel. Did have 1 bad experience with a Days Inn, but we've stayed in them often while doing road trips.

I have three favorites. Grand Floridian Resort and Spa at Walt Disney World, Hotel Del Coronado in San Diego, and Penta Hotel in Munich, Germany.
