If it were a dedicated volleyball court and only used for volleyball it seems like you could see if the ball was in or out, it would help the line judges! BUT most are shared with the basketball teams and black would not work for basketball!

Depends. Indoor our Outdoor.

Indoor-- Most volleyball courts are just the boundary lines laid over a basketball court, right. So, If it was black, it would be harder to see the boundaries. Besides, I'm sure it's cheaper.

Outdoor- It would probably get too hot. (Assuming you're playing on concrete.)

because when your playing volleyball and you mess up and it gets you down. You want to feel better when the walls aren't painted Black it still keeps you going, even when you made a mistake. When the walls are painted black you just wanna quit!

Who said!! no..It can be painted in the black aslo.Until and unless the lines are painted in the different colors to differentiat it, is allowed.

I have actually seen black courts before. When you go to a big national or regional tournament they have "sport court" that comes in pretty much every color.

SOME VOLLEYBALL COURTS ARE BLACK THEY JUST HAVE WHITE OUTLNE TO SHOW THE PLAYERS THE COURT BECAUSE SOME COLLEGE VOLLEYBALL COURTS ARE BLACK

You would be able to tell were you would have to serve and you wouldn't be able to tell were you start to do a spike
