I have red sorness around my mouth from using the silky mitt last night. For all thoses who dont know what one is its like sandpaper that gets rid of unwanted facial hair. Is there anything i can put on it to take the redness away quick? i have somewhere important to go to a 4pm and i look awfull!! Thanks ladies and gents ! x

Put on thick coat of Hydrocortisone cream on it and let it sit untouched for as long as possible. It won't likely go away completely since basically you have an abrasion there. Just keep it moisturised and you should be able to somewhat hide it with some light makeup. Next time try wax strips. Those silky mitts basically ground off the hair and skin and are not good for the sensitive skin on your face.

ice cubes... make sure you dont leave them for too long because it will also irritate your skin more. just rub it so the inflamation goes down little bit then just apply olive oil and do not stress or keep looking at the mirror. it will definately go away by 4pm.

You have burned your face like a rug burn. It will only go away on it's own, but you can use neosporin to speed it up. They had to use that when I had 2nd and 3rd degree burns on my stomach from my pressure cooker exploding on me while I was carrying it. I was allergic to the medication they normally put on severe burns.
