Well there is Battersea Dogs Home and your local RSPCA or you can try buying a cat magazine and see what is advertised in there. Another good place to try is your local vets as they may have a list of new kittens that need housing. My friend found her kitten via "The Loot" newspaper. Have you tried putting an ad in your local shop window?

Depends if you want a pedigree animal if so suggest contact the Kennel club. If not Battersea Dogs home or the cats protection league. Remember an animal is for life not just for Christmas.

Shelter pets need a home more than pet stores and breeders need your money. Adopt a pet from a shelter and you will save a life. Try Petfinder.com they list shelters from all over. They have a huge selection of any animal.

Remember dogs and cats are for life, not just for christmas...
....a bit like Turkey in that respect....I'll still be eating it at Easter at this rate

I would say foster one first from the RSPCA or other animal shelter.
Google them and give them a ring, then if you think you can handle it, you can adopt one.
