Well, I don't know the exact car prices in the UK, but I drive my second Saab 9-5 Aero estate car (automatic transmission). There is nothing better to travel, to arrive relaxed - and with this car you may appear anywhere giving a good impression.
I think, you get much better value for money than with any BMW, Mercedes or Audi.
A generally under-estimated car is the Opel/Vauxhall Vectra caravan, but it's a class lower although with excellent technique and quality.
