I know if you smoke meth it will rot your teeth much faster then snorting. Dose anyone know how long it takes to rot your teeth form JUST snorting not smokeing. If you where to brush your teeth everytime you did snort it would that help? I know someone that snorts a half a gram a day it and he dose not drink soda like most do he drinks water.

I told him that it dose not matter in the end it will end up roting your teeth anyway and it will do alot more then f your teeth up.

You're absolutely right in what you're telling your friend. It'll rot his brain just as quickly as his teeth. Anything you can do to help steer him away from this crap is a good thing. Good luck.

Rotting of one's teeth occurs due to the tendencies of meth users to have "dry mouth" followed by the consumption of sugar-based liquids, usually soda to quench thirst. Also the failure to brush is common in meth users as well. Put the two together and you are on the road to expensive dentures. Meth can also cause teeth grinding which destroys the protective tooth enamel. Saliva plays an important role in keeping bacteria in the mouth at a minimum while a dry mouth is a haven for tooth decaying germs.
If you must "use" at least brush your teeth twice a day and drink plenty of water, not soda. When you tire of meth rest assured you will feel better about 2 weeks after you quit! The pschycosis should disappear as well.

yes, his teeth will eventually rot, sounds to be like "pretty boy meth head" isnt going to be very pretty much longer. He will soon start scabbing, his hair will fall out, he will become bone thin, his eyes will sink in and the best part yet.....he will eventually either end up in prison because he has to support jis fix or oh heres the best one....he will DIE.

One theory says that if you snort meth you are so screwed up that you let your teeth go anyway, and accellerate the decay process.

It probably has something to do with the way it cranks up your metabolism for long periods of time. People run themselves ragged on meth for days on end and your body can't handle being in overdrive all the time, so many normal processes are disrupted. I like drugs, but meth is unique. All of a sudden a bunch of my friends that could handle other stuff started dropping by the wayside. It is REALLY dangerous stuff and I take it upon myself to post a warning every time I see a topic about meth. It's easily 10 times worse than cocaine.

To hell with the teeth, you can always buy dentures. He is frying his brain and that can't be fixed. I think you people who do drugs today, need to go to the institutions and take a look at all the drug related patients who said that would never happen to them.
